Vidya Shah
Deepak Mittal
Kunal Shroff

Kunal has been with ChrysCapital since November 1999 and is the Managing Partner at the firm. He manages the organisation, leads the client relations function and also plays a critical role across all sectors, overseeing and assisting the various sector teams. Kunal was previously at Chilton Investment Company where he covered technology stocks, and at Goldman Sachs in their principal investment area in New York where he focused on private equity and mezzanine investments. He received his BS in Computer Science with magna cum laude honors from Cornell University.

Rati Forbes

Rati Forbes is a Director of the Forbes Marshall Group and heads the Forbes Foundation. She has been recognized for her social initiatives both within the company and in the wider world. She chaired Confederation of Indian Industry’s western region cell for social development, whose main objective is to sensitize corporate entities to their social responsibilities. She also serves on the boards of several foundations and non-profits across India. Rati graduated in Psychology with Honors and Sociology from the University of Mumbai and has also taken special courses in human resources, organizational behavior and strategic philanthropy. Rati also holds a Masters in Sustainability Management and Leadership from Cambridge University.

Naghma Mulla

Naghma Mulla is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Board Member of EdelGive Foundation, the philanthropic initiative of Edelweiss Group – one of India’s leading diversified financial services group.
As COO, Naghma has been instrumental in driving the vision of EdelGive Foundation towards the growth and scale of the organisations the foundation supports. Naghma plays a large role in enabling commitments to our diverse portfolio of NGOs, by creating valuable partnerships with reputed international and national stakeholders within the sector.
Today, EdelGive has also built two successful collaboratives - The Collaborators for Transforming Education (in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra) and the Coalition for Women’s Empowerment – both developed and nurtured by her. Naghma is also a member of the Core Committee of the India Climate Collaborative – a collaboration of India’s leading philanthropies committed to addressing the climate crisis in India.
Naghma is mentor at the Nadathur S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at IIM Bangalore, providing strategic support to several start-ups.
She began her career with Bajaj Alliance General Insurance and played an instrumental role in their foundational team.
She is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has a Master of Commerce (M. Com.) degree from Pune University.

Vidya Shah
CEO

Vidya Shah is the CEO of EdelGive Foundation, an organization working towards building the capacities of the not for profit sector by using the resources of the for-profit sector. Under her leadership and the support of its parent Edelweiss Group, EdelGive Foundation has grown to become a platform for strategic philanthropy in India.
Vidya is also a Non-Executive Director at Edelweiss Financial Services Limited and additionally serves as a Director on the board of several investment advisory firms such as Mabella Trustee Services and Spire Investment Advisers. Vidya also supports several organizations working such as Janaagraha, Asian Venture Philanthropy Network, Masoom, Agastya International Foundation among others. Vidya also sits on the advisory council for organizations such as Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy and Manndeshi Foundation.
Prior to her role at EdelGive Foundation, Vidya was associated with Edelweiss Group as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She has also worked with large financial institutions such as ICICI, Peregrine and NM Rothschild India, as an investment banker.
Vidya has been recognised as India’s Top 100 Women in Finance by Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI) in 2019. She has also been awarded the Woman Achiever of the Year Award by ABP Group during their BFSI awards in 2017 and the Financial Inclusion Award by CNBC TV 18 in 2016.
Vidya earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.

Naghma Mulla
COO

As the COO of the foundation, Naghma has been instrumental in driving the mission of the organization towards creating asymmetrical impact across the project areas. Her strong financial background has enabled her to improve the performance of the organization by creating effectives partnerships and associating with credible NGOs. Naghma is also associated with several not-for-profits in different capacities. She has been a Director at Railway Children India and a mentor at the Nadathur S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning in Bangalore, providing support to start-ups. Prior to her role at EdelGive Foundation, Naghma began her career as an Accounts Manager with Bajaj Alliance General Insurance in their initial team. Naghma is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has a Masters of Commerce (M. Com.) degree from Pune University. She also has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from V.E.S. College of Commerce in Mumbai.

Atul Gandhi
Lead, Investment & Program

M.Sc. (Statistics), Masters Ph.D. in Population Studies International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai
Atul leads the Investment and Monitoring & Evaluation portfolio at EdelGive Foundation. He comes with over 14 years of development sector experience and has worked with organisations like Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Pathfinder International, Tata Institute of Social sciences on programs supported by agencies like Aga Khan Foundation, USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria. He has been involved in supporting several organisations in conducting baselines, mid-term or end-line evaluations and also for designing computerised MIS application. Atul has four publications in national/international journals to his credit including a book, and has also participated and presented papers at international conferences.

Ankita Luharia

MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS MSW from College of Social work, Nirmala Niketan, Mumbai University
Ankita is responsible for the Women Empowerment portfolio at the Foundation. Her role encompasses focussing on developing strategy, portfolio management and developing strategic alliances with different stakeholders. Prior to EdelGive Foundation, she was associated with ActionAid International and has also worked on issues related to women and child rights in the state of Rajasthan.

Ahmad Bari
Investment & Program

M.A. in Social Work - Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai
B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry - Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh 
Ahmad is a part of the Women Empowerment team. He actively works on developing partnerships with NGOs working towards the safety and security of women, and promoting women entrepreneurship opportunities. Ahmad previously worked with New Concept Information Systems, New Delhi, where his role involved conducting research and documenting various social development issues.

Paramita Ghosh
Investment & Program

M.A Sociology- Pune University SRF, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Paramita leads the Education portfolio, which includes developing overall strategy, engaging with organisations to build their capacity, assisting them to facilitate partnerships, and measuring the grant processes. She is engaged in managing EdelGive Foundation’s flagship program, The Collaborators for Transforming Education. She has over 5 years of experience in research and 9 years in the Development sector. She has been a recipient of Junior and Senior Research Fellowship from ISI to pursue her Ph.D. on the ‘State of Education in India’. Paramita previously worked with CCDT, Muktangan and Kotak Education Foundation.

Arpita Roy Karmakar

M.Sc and B.Sc in Economics - University of Calcutta
At EdelGive Foundation, Arpita is a apart of the Education team. She advises the investees on organisation strategies, enabling better direction in mapping of the future, and works towards streamlining the Monitoring and Evaluation processes for them. She is also an active member of the team managing The Collaborators for Transforming Education initiative and ensures that implementation of the program aligns with the Pragat Shaikshanik Maharashtra Program. She has previously worked as a Gandhi Fellow with Kaivalya Education Foundation, and with other large scale organizations like Hippocampus Learning Centre and Naandi Foundation.

Vijayata Verma
Investment & Program

M.A. in Social Work - Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai
B.Ed & P.G.D. Development Therapy - Delhi University 
Vijayata is responsible for the strategic development and management of the Livelihood portfolio. Her role envisages scoping of new NGOs with strong community connect, conducting due diligence to enable grant making, to grant management and providing support to partner organizations for their overall development. She previously worked in the disability sector with Action for Ability Development and Inclusion (AADI).

Renuka Wagh
Monitoring & Evaluation

Masters in Health Sciences,University of Pune
Renuka designs, develops and ensures effective functioning of the M&E systems at EdelGive, to generate evidence for strategic decisions by the foundation. She comes with over 12 years of development sector experience and has worked with both funding and implementing organisations.

Ruchika Chaudhary
Monitoring & Evaluation

Master's in Computer Applications (MCA)
Ruchika assists the Monitoring and Evaluation Team with the collection, interpretation and reporting of numbers. She also designs, analyses and develops structural systems that help in making better business decisions for the Foundation. She has previously interned with NIIT before joining EdelGive.

Aiswarya A

MBA in Social Entrepreneurship, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies
Aiswarya is responsible for building value in EdelGive Foundation’s partnership with its funding partners, through convening forums designed for knowledge sharing and cross learning. A former journalist, having extensive experience in program monitoring and impact reporting, Aiswarya oversees donor engagement at EdelGive, crafting and communicating stories of impact to funders through conversations and communiques.

Neha Chaturvedi

A social Worker with almost 10 years of experience in HR and CSR. At EdelGive, Neha is responsible for designing, monitoring and implementing partnerships projects as well as maintaining key donor relationships. Prior to this, she was associated with ACG Cares Foundation.

Mahima Verma

At EdelGive Foundation, Mahima’s primary responsibilities include servicing, reporting and maintaining effective relationship with our funding partners. An architect by training, with a repertoire spanning across diversified domains of real estate industry from development of the built form to designing and managing strategic business initiatives impacting the change in evolving communities.

K. Meiyun Seleyi

Meiyun assists the Partnerships team in donor relationship management, servicing, reporting and curating events. She also manages all technological and systems facets that track correlations between the funding partners and the social sector. As an intern with the State Council of Science, Technology & Environment, Govt. of Meghalaya, Meiyun was engaged in extensive research and documentation of livelihood, rural development and natural resource management projects.

Lakshana Asthana

Lakshana assists the Partnership team in business development, data management and extensive secondary research. A graduate from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Lakshana was involved with iCBR, TANDA and Centre for Dalit Rights, and was one of the youngest researchers to be published internationally from the institute.

Tanvi Deshmukh

Varun’s responsibility is to drive activities that help in strengthening capacity of NGOs, optimise their impact and make them sustainable. He has previously interned with Edelweiss and ABB where he performed analyses and generated insights from different types of employee related data.

Priya Beck

B.A in History from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai
Priya plays a vital role in driving the volunteering activities under the Employee Engagement vertical. In her previous role at RPG Foundation, she was responsible for teaching functional English to the children in BMC Schools. Prior to that, she worked with Bright Future, where she trained underprivileged youth with employability skills.

Sandhya Rao
Lead, Finance & Compliance

Chartered Accountant
Sandhya looks into the Finance and Compliance matters at EdelGive Foundation. She comes with18 years of experience in corporate and development sectors in the areas of finance, accounting and audit. She has earlier worked with accounting firms viz. RSM&Co, Pricewaterhouse Cooper and Ernst &Young. Her stint in the social sector began with Dasra where she closely worked with the Finance team and helped in board and donor reporting, donor audit and budgeting amongst other things.

Kushal Doshi
Finance & Compliance

Chartered Accountant
A chartered Accountant by profession, Kushal is responsible for the maintenance of regulatory compliance control to ensure all necessary governance requirements are met. In addition to this, he maintains cash flow and MIS of the Foundation. Prior to joining EdelGive Foundation, he worked as an Assistant Manager (Accounts & Finance) with EduPristine, a Premier Finance Training Provider.

Kerban Rajdeo
Lead, Communications

M.Sc. in Media and Communication, London School of Economics and Political Science B.A in Journalism and Communication, School of Communication, Manipal University
Kerban Rajdeo leads the communications, and is responsible for overseeing both the internal and external communication for EdelGive Foundation. She has over 7 years of experience in the field of strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and public policy. Prior to this, she was a consultant at APCO Worldwide, where she worked closely with large foundations and national NGOs in helping them plan their engagements with stakeholders across governments, civil society and the media. She has also served as a PR Executive at Edelman India Private Limited serving the reputed Tata Group of Companies, including Tata Trusts, Tata Steel and Tata Power.

Dipesh Tank
Communications

Dipesh has been active in the social development sector since the past 14 years. Prior to Edelweiss, he was associated with organisations like Sitel India, Cartwheel Creative and Radio Mirchi. Previously, he worked with an organisation that helped the government solve complex problems like human trafficking. There, he was heading special projects and was responsible for the raid, rescue and rehabilitation of trafficked girls.

Prajakta works with internal teams to handle vender co-ordination, travel and ticketing, event curation and file management, as well as day to day administrative and logistical support. She has over 4 years of experience in delivering administrative support in well know organizations like Securities and Exchange Board Of India, National Stock Exchange and CDSL Ventures Limited.
